NAMM BASS BASH 2010

I'm getting in on Monday, can anyone recommend some live music Mon and Tues night? I'm into anything from jazz to metal, living out here I'm starved for quality live entertainment.

Also, I made reservations at JTs for bass bash on Fri, is the dining area the same or close to the entertainment area in this place? thanks!

There is a portion of the restaurant which is reserved for the bass bash, but the rest of the dining area is in the same building.

I was pleased to see/hear Damien Erskine as well! I think Bass Bash may have outgrown that location. It was packed last night!

Folks, I had the DISTINCT pleasure of seeing this man play last night and he was STUNNING. Man I need to practice a LOT more. Ray, can't say enough how great it was to see you play.

HOLY CRAP! Yeah, that was the UNDERstatement of the CENTURY. Wow! I bought two CD's and had him sign both for me. That 300yr old bass of is sounds incredible. I heard he found it in a pawn shop somewhere years ago.

That was a lot of fun tonight - some great musicians, for sure. Also was GREAT to meet some TB'ers face-to-face! What a good group of dudes!

Anyone make a DVD of the show? I recorded a few clips bit saw a few recording the whole thing, would love to get a copy!

That reminds me... I shot a bunch of video the first night on my DV camcorder. Built-in mic is all I had, so the sound is distorted, but it might still be interesting.

Well, my brother lives in Chandler, and it's been a while since I've seen him, so maybe I'll do a combo trip sometime when you're not on tour.
