NAMM Photos

The stupid thing is that they dont know their own products .

For pickups instead of aguilar they wrote big single from nordstand.
That is a shame for Ibanez ,It is not their first time have such mistake and wierd thing is that It wrote pickup name on it so no one see from Ibanez ?
That is sad for a good brand to have this rookie mistakes .

Then again, just two of the basses in those pictures were mislabeled if I am not mistaken. Mostly they list Nordstrand or Aguilar correctly. Someone made a mistake in a hurry when setting it up and they did not have time to fix it. Perhaps they even noticed and decided there's nothing that can be done at this point but at least people will be able to see with their own eyes what's in them for real...

Seems a minor mistake but you are right mistake anyway and one that should not happen to a big player like Ibanez. I am pretty sure some companies had worse last year when the sign for their booth had their company name mistyped...

Mistyped name is so much serious .
I did know that.

New strings, now there is something that gets my motor running.

I'm a string junkie. About to give a local Nashville string maker (Stringjoy) a try as well as an Italian brand (Galli Strings)

Another sneak peak. Coming sometime in 2020 from Markbass. New preamp pedal capable of blending solid state with real tube. Aux in and headphones out. Drive control.

my favorites from this show so far are the gold fender mustang, the new 5 string Dingwall D-roc, the blue more modern styled Dingwall super J, the expanded new Mayones Cali mini basses with the neck running all the way through the body, the fan fret Kiesel Vader looks much better than I thought it would and the 7 string fan fret Keisel zues imo is the sexiest extreme ERB. All of which aside from the super J are either around or under $2k. Don’t really care about much beyond those prices as I can’t really afford that super expensive stuff anyways.

for amps the trickfish stuff looks interesting. I’m definitely interested in the new lightweight darkglass 212.

still haven’t seen a much for pedals but normally throughout the week of namm pedals tend to be shown last.

Their price is getting higher every year .
Like to see what will be the real price because with this pricing they will face a bad year.
Yeah, I hate rookie mistakes too—like spaces before periods and commas, incorrect capitalization, misspelled words like “weird,” etc. :D

New York Bass Works booth tour :)

I played the “J-Ray” and it sounded marvelous. Huge tone and it has a custom wound DiMarzio in the neck position. Someone should snag that bass. Really good. Everybody that played it seemed to think it was amazing.

David Segal is a cool cat.
