Thanks for the heads up. I hope I like the Stringjoy strings because I get them overnight without having to pay for overnight shipping since they are local to me. Sadly, I called them and asked if I could pick up at their office and they say they do mail order only, no ability to sell to walk in customers. That sucks since they are only a few miles from my office.

So far my favorite round is D’Addario NYXL. Favorite flat is GHS Precison Flat or Laballa Low Tension.

On my Dingwall I typically use Dingwall strings although extra long D’Addarios fit....barely!
You can get them at Carter’s, I believe. Two Old Hippies also sells them, for future reference.

Not really aimed at you, just commenting on the product. Many people would like to see a NR T-bird like bass in the loop, just wish they went a little further. Mike Lull did a nice job with his T-bird like bass.
No worries...
I am curious what kind of price difference there would be from an Ashdown to a Mike Lull. I have not seen any listings for the Ashdown models but I am willing to bet they’re not even close.

I agree, it looks a little on the MIC under 1k side. I'd spend my money on a Cataldo if that is the style I was after.
