Any chance you can scout whats going on at Dogal strings with the new Jonas Hellborg strings? Been impossible to find any info on them!

G&L is totally hitting it out of the park. I saw on instagram somebody posted the new short scale fallout(?) basses, this time without racing stripes! I wonder if they maybe saw the talkbass thread from a month or two ago where the stripes were discussed. Either way, there's one in pink without stripes that made me salivate...

iirc Mesa hasn't been at NAMM for a number of years.
Less companies are making the trip - it just isn't worth the expense. In a 24/7 interconnected world, trade shows have decreasing importance. Used to be that most of the deals for the year were written at NAMM. Now it is mostly just to meet people F2F and maintain relationships.
Curious how much the show has shrunk. I haven't gone in a few years (with my ears thanking me), but it was contracting from when I first started attending in the late 80's. Namthrax likely is still strong though
