I find this thread amusing. Part of me agrees with the O/P, while part of me doesn't. The first time I saw the AV Reissue '75 Jazz in Natural with black blocks and binding, I was lusting uncontrollably! :D Bought one brand new in 2000. Also had a legitimate '75 P-Bass. Loved both of them, and they were my

go-to's for quite a few years.

But yes, admittedly I did eventually get bored with the aesthetics. Now I don't have either one. But I sure did love them for awhile!!!
