Natural Ash basses are boring

Are natural Ash basses boring?

For the avoidance of doubt I sould also add that my original and long gone late 70's Wal ProBass (fretless) and '82 dot-and-bound Jazz (fretted) were also natural Ash. Unfortunately I have no pictures of either.

Opinions are as wide and varied as there are people to have them.

How boring is it to a blind person?

You don't like them, they bore YOU... and maybe some others.

but someone obviously likes them, I see them in stores all the time.
I wouldn't personally choose one, nor would I choose a flashy one. I like sunburst, which a while back I saw someone else say was boring.

If we all liked the same thing, that would be boring.
