NBD 1975 Fender P Bass

Gorgeous. I have a '74, same color but with white pick guard. And that case is in amazing condition!

I have a pair of natural '74s (maple and rosewood) the maple has the best neck I've ever played. They're both natural, but would absolutely love an olympic white one, it's my all-time, they are hard to come by locally.

The only thing that looks odd to me is the extra screw in the middle if the pick guard.

My 1978 Precision has the same thing.

If I remember correctly the extra screw was used to reduce pick guard vibration when the thumb rest was on the top of the pick guard. When the finger rest was below the strings there was on need for the extra screw to secure the pick guard.

It worked out really well. The guy I traded with loved the amp so it was a win win for both of us. I luckily got a steal and got the amp for $800.

First Bass I bought [was using barrowed Beatle Bass Copy] was New White '75 P [UNDER $300] with Black Pickguard used for thousands of Gig's and Rehearsals up to 2002. Started White but in the end color was similar to yours

Sold it when I retired the first time In retrospect one of the sadist days of my life. I felt like I sold a part of Me.
