So, I'm dreaming about owning a Thunderbird since 2014. But many things steer me away from those bass. Finally I got the chance to buy new with used price. Actually I don't like the alpine white finish. Wanting an ebony or burst but there's one to find here. After weeks of consideration and with the help from people of Thunderbird club, I pull the trigger. So, this is me on 2014:

That's gotta feel good - To fall in love with a model and fiend for it for 7 years, only to finally have YOURS in your hands :hyper:.
Plus, the "then/now" photos are a nice touch.

In my humble opinion, the white finish looks great on that bass. I'd maybe change out the pickguard for a splash of color, but it looks pretty durn good as it is. Hope it brings you the sound and the joy you've waited for .
Congrats!

Most basses are wood inside.

White painted basses are awesome.
thank you!

thank you! Yeah to be honest the white one isn't my top pick. I don't think I want to change the pick guard tho.

Congratulations, beautiful bass the white looks great!
thank you!

I always avoided white finishes on guitars and basses until I saw a friend on stage playing his Olympic White Jazz bass. That changed my opinion, I get white color basses now.
Congratulations, yours looks great!
thank you! Tbh I don't mind a white bass, but I just don't get for these particular bass. But now I'll love her

A black pickguard on that bass, making a contrast between the body and the headstock, would look very, very nice!
I don't think I'll change ghe pick guard

Congratulations! I love my Vintage Pro Thunderbirds!

i think that's a great looking ax! you're the big winner if the neck feels good to play, and if you like the sound of it --- congratulations on your new instrument!
the neck feels good and I like the sound from her. Thank you!

While I do appreciate the burst Thunderbird, the white specimen is outstanding.

Im a big Oly White/Vintage white fan. With red tort. Have a couple of guitars and basses in that liver and want more!
I want the ebony one as my first option. But I can live with Alpine white

That's awesome! I'm super jealous! I need to get my hands on one of those T-Birds in white! Well done!
you should!
