Only took me 45 years, but I am officially an Alembic owner. Picked up this incredible 1988 Spoiler this morning. Spent most of its life as a case queen. Still wearing it original strings. Could use a set up, but otherwise it's pretty near flawless.

Alembic Club at Talk BassVery nice indeed, congratulations and enjoy playing it.
I am somewhat an Alembic tragic, I have one that's 30 years old and a new one on the way. I love the sound and playability and seriously I own some pretty awesome basses but the Alembic is king.
I think it's the clean sound, no noise from the electronics and it covers a lot of different styles. Looking forward to getting mine in the next couple of weeks.

Nice bass, congrats!
I don't know anything about Alembic basses. Is the neck unusually narrow, or does it just look that way?
One pic? We get one?
