Agree, Bacchus (Woodline Handmade Series) are a steal. They compare or exceed Sad Metros and similar at close to half the price. Build quality is pretty damn amazing. Check out the pearloid binding (a nice touch).

The Turbo Switch adds a bit more volume, but also beefs up the tone to make it more P bass sounding (to my ears anyway). Pretty cool option. The other great thing about the bass is that even though the pickups are single coil, they are nearly dead-silent even when soloed. I'm still blown-away by the build-quality vs price-point on these. You have to pay "doublish" to get anywhere near this from most other builders / factories. Bacchus are the #&@*!

Damn that's hot.....you just can't go wrong with that natural wood finish.

I've seen several of their exotic wood jazz basses and each one is a work of art.
The black hardware is beautiful.

Agree 100%. Bang for the buck ratio is about as high as it gets IMHO! You pretty much get a custom bass for not much more than a run of the mill new Fender American....

Thanks man! And look closely, it's not a tort guard. It's a transparent guard (that's the wood grain showing through)!

Dang! is that a clear red guard? I would have sworn that was dark tort. Who cares, looks killer. How does it balance? I love J-Basses, but some are pretty neck divey.

Nice bass! Love the neck binding. The action doesn't look very crazy low though.
