NBD - Cataldo 10 string bass

I recently bought a 12 string Cataldo bass. It’s such a wonderful bass that when I saw Carlo making a prototype 10 sting bass I couldn’t help myself and decided to buy it. I received it yesterday and it’s even better than I could have hoped for. It does have a very wide neck but it plays great. Further it sounds absolutely thunderous! It such a different beast in terms of feel and sound from my 12 string that I have absolutely no regrets in picking it up. My thanks to Carlo for a job well done (a massive understatement).

Took me a good 5 years
Bought on CL from a guy near Cleveland
Transaction went smooth even though most sellers on CL are hugely paranoid about selling non-locally on-line

The Dean 10 is a good instrument ... to make it great it needs better pickups and a better preamp
