NBD - Custom Classic Jazz

Congrats on the new bass! So how's the weight? :)

I knew you'd ask that ;)

I dont have an accurate scale here but I can say it is heavy-ish. I've been playing a relatively light 08 Pbass and Ric regularly (up until now!) so heavy to me is skewed. It isn't by any means unbearable. I played 4 hours the first night with it and had no issues.

Well you knew I'd be curious. :) As long as you have no trouble gigging with it that's the main thing. Sounds like it's even more perfect than it looks. :)

I'm a '62 AVRI PB and '62 RI CIJ JB player...
The CS Custom Classic has 21 frets, the upper horn joins at the 17th fret, the pick-ups and the bridge are higher on the body... hence the shape !!!
Any encouraging comment before deciding on a transition...
(there have been many like this on eBay since a year+ brand new at $2,000 more or less... over-stocking at the CS ?)
