There isn't really a name for this model. I've always wanted a Rick, but the prices (and being lefty) have kept me away. I've also always wanted a Mosrite, but they're not really available lefty.

So, when given the opportunity to design my own, kind of combined them. I've always been a fan of the tuxedo finish. It's hideously...classy? There's a 13 on the twelfth fret. You can't tell, but the knobs are top hats.

We put some Dimarzio split P's in there too. I love 'em. I'm not really a black hardware kinda guy, but it really completed the picture. It fits right in with the obnoxiousness of my white Orange AD200 heads and white Aguilar DB cabs.

I just got home with it, so I haven't really played it yet.

We're working out a price, probably just my soul.

Reasonable deal I guess. It is quite the stunner. Tell them you'll give'em free publicity on TalkBass. ;)

And this is the second First Act Bass I have seen here tonight. Something must be going amok somewhere. Is the universe developing a tear in the fabric of time?

I'll also add this. Your pained expression of bass face complements your rig. Your instincts have served you well young Skullcrusher.

They made this one for Jonathan from Torche:

and this one for Kurt from Converge:

They're far more Rick-ish than mine.

Initially we were going to do something like a grabber with a p pickup, but I changed my mind at the last minute. Their AR guy and I have known each other for years, one of the guitar players in my band has several FA guitars.

We banged out the whole idea in about 10 minutes.
