Well it finally showed up at 10:30 PM last night:

Fit and finish are the same level of perfection you'd expect from everything EBMM. The sparkle is awesome and the DarkGlass sounds are perfect for everything from a little bit of extra grit up to insane face-melting distortion.

Yeah, it plays extremely well. Smooth, oiled neck, very light for its size, and sits comfortably on a strap.

Sonically it's an interesting thing to compare, because it's essentially the same as my Stingray Special 5, just with the added Darkglass preamp. The other major difference would be the two band EQ, versus the three band on a traditional Special. With the distortion/fuzz off it sounds just like your typical Stingray, which is a plus in my opinion.

The ability to adjust the gain of the two distortion settings is nice to have. I tend to like a touch of grit running at all times and you can easily dial in an "always present" amount to help color your tone.

I see. But, I believe you loose all string then pull all saddle to B string side will make it better. To me, the string still not well align to magnet pole .

I have OCD on expensive bass even not own by myself.
