Wow... that's holy-hell nice! Have always seen the Dingwall name tossed around here, but have never been interested enough to look what one looks like. Oh, man... those look cool. Many congrats!

well, they don`t all look like this- this is DW`s version of the classic P; brand new model that just came out a few months ago. a very rare bird at this stage of production.

Congratulations Joe. Speaking of rare. This is the first 3D scalloped headstock on the Super P's.

feels natural -(i already own a dingwall afterburner)
if you haven`t tried the fanned frets you need to have an open mind; they work well and in my case a little too well.
it is dingwall for me here on out.

oh and sheldon-just plugged it in and i have got to say; that is the best all around P tone i have ever heard. i cannot believe what i just heard.

i believe they do, but this is the only one i have seen so far.
the super p only became available about 2 or 3 months ago; it was still in the prototype stage at the NAMM show.
there cannot be many super P`s out there yet.

NBD. I guess if you'd found a 100 carat diamond, you'd say you found an interesting pebble. You sir, are a master of understatement. ;) ;) ;) Dingwalls are in a league of their own. I have a four string Super J with a P at the neck. It is to my ears, the penultimate precision tone. Enjoy that beauty, brother!

Yes, the new Super P is available in four-string.

So, which bass is the ONE that is better in your opinion than this one?

sorry, penultimate is one of those words that tweaks my grammar nazi inside voice.

Had you not been so quick on this, I might have jumped on it.

Congratulations! It's a really nice bass and I am glad the scoop is back.

I wonder what a matching headstock with the new extended scoop will look like.
