Christmas comes early!! My wife offered to buy me a bass guitar for Christmas this year, found this brand spankin' new specimen at my not so local G.C. (Mini Road Trip)- Wanted to scoop it up sooner rather than later, since these are getting harder to find :-)

And, before anybody asks, No she does not have a sister, LOL

Nice!
Does she have a cousin that is female? :woot:

Looks exactly like the one the man himself was playing last year when I saw him in concert.

That thing has a lot more tricks and tones than I thought. Really versatile bass (in Jack's hands anyway).

Looks great too!
I got to see him live a few weeks ago and he wasn't even playing one! (Hot Tuna Acoustic set, he played his Ribbecke Diana! Been waiting to see and hear him on that bass, did not disappoint!)

At the risk of self promotion, I've found my JC to be incredibly versatile, from super pretty delicate singer songwriter stuff to absolutely crushing doom fuzz, fingers, pics, ebow, and equally happy with flats or wounds, though flats are my preference these days. Its like a P bass in that its up the player, the bass will do whatever its told to do.

Congrats on the new bass day!!! The 20th Anniversary is the only bass I am really gassing for right now, I hope to get one next year.

Nice one, I grabbed mine about a year ago and continue to love it everyday. A set of Gotoh Res-o-lites and a suede backed strap takes care of any neck dive you might be experiencing, and while your at it, a bone nut really improves the open string tone.
