They had 3 nice MIM'S. MINE, coppertone/rosewood and 3stb/rosewood. All played GREAT but I love maple fretboards. Mine was also $50 less. SWEEEEEEEEEET.

yeah, i share your enthusiasm! some of Fender's best kept secrets are in the MIM lines! everytime i visit GC i find one or two killers in the $500.-700.00 range.

Congrats - very nice looking bass... Add a series/parallel switch(S1), and a Hipshot drop tuner - and you've got a very versatile bass...
