NBD: Fender Custom Shop Jazz

Just thought I'd add once again that your new Jazz is off the charts beautiful. I realize this is probably a stupid question but does the idea of gigging with it (I.E. taking it out and about) make a LITTLE bit nervous (kind of like new car paranoia?)....ha ha ha

Thanks again ChadPJ.

FedEx delivered the bass this afternoon, and I opened the package about 30 minutes ago. The bass is so nice that, yes, I will have some apprehension about taking it out. But that's what I bought it for....to play it! So I will just have to be careful and try not to bang it against anything! Fortunately, I am the careful type and I take VERY good care of my gear (almost to the point of being anal retentive).

And I had to laugh when you mentioned the new car thing. The only time in my life I have ever bought a brand new car was in late 2006 when I bought my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I remember driving it home from the dealership. I didn't want any other cars on the road to get within three blocks of my new car!

Thanks Anthony and VCN!

VCN: Sweetwater had one in stock over a year ago, but it sold before I had a chance to buy it. So, I plugged in my e-mail address to be notified automatically when the next one came in. After about six months, I just figured they would never get another one in. Then, a week ago, out of the blue, I get an automatic e-mail from SW informing me that they now have one in stock. I took one look at the pics, and I said "that's mine". I bought it right then and there. It was probably on their website for no more than an hour.
