My new Fender Precision arrived today. I absolutely love it . I will probably tinker with the setup a little, but out of the box, it’s gorgeous!

Fantastic bass! I have one in Sunburst with maple fretboard. Sounds and feels so good! Was looking to add one like yours and put flats on it. Hmmm.

Great bass enjoy it! I have an Olympic white Pro II but it has a maple finger board. They look great either way!

I've always liked that dark-colored tort best out of all of them. Goes well with the (I assume) rosewood board.

I bought an American Pro II Precision 5-string a few months ago. It literally arrived from Sweetwater literally flawless in fit and finish. I did change the the pups to Lindy Fralins (his first P5 wind) and I was much happier with the tone. And added a genuine gold anodized aluminum pickguard. Really set off the looks.

I later sold that P5 bass to our bandleader who has it sitting in our rehearsal studio. I had decided that I wasn't quite the Precision bass enthusiast that I'd like to be. and sold it in a weak moment. But I pick it up occasionally during rehearsals or sessions, so I've grown halfway fond of it again. And after NYE, I'm gonna buy it back. I think it will make a great companion to my new Stingray Special.

Ah, so nice to see a Fender that isn't sunburst / tort. I really like white / tort / rosewood. It is the one color combo that is on my list but missing from my stable.

I'm just glad that lots of folks have been getting instruments delivered safe and sound during the holiday parcel madness.

I tend to hold off on shipping stuff in and out until the fever breaks and things settle back down to a normal flow.

But that doesn't mean that others shouldn't give it a go. And get handsomely rewarded.

That looks like a nice dark rosewood fb. I really like the Pro II for the Super Natural Satin neck finish and sculpted neck heel too.

Congrats on your new bass OP! I have one of those in Miami Blue with a maple fretboard. I replaced the pickup with an EMG Geezer Butler pickup and it sounds a lot better than the stock V Mod II pickup.
