tbf I didn't read the bit about laveguards, it just reminded me of what I'd read this morning and how things look like its going to be harder and more expensive to buy imported goods. It'll all settle down again hopefully.

Thanks. It came out better than most of my factory Fenders - but some of that was pure luck on the parts I got. Both neck and body are light. I haven't weighed it yet but must be low 8s. The neck was MUCH more perfect than the necks on some more expensive Fenders I've had. You can basically lay the strings on the neck and ZERO buzz. The craftsmanship is flawless.wow, definitely the looker!
