NBD finally got my unicorn

It doesn't have to be! That is a find looking Epi right there.

Have fun with it (I own two Gibson LP Basses....they are indeed a labor of love, and I do love them.)

The way I hold and the straps I use, I don't have issues with neck dive on most of my basses, and I have a bunch that are based off guitar body styles. I had no issues with the t-bird I owned either. Just checked this one, no issues, very comfortable on the strap.

That’s great! I do suspect there’s a lot of variation from specimen to specimen too

What model is that?

Epiphone "The Vinnie" Vince Hornsby signature bass. He is the bassist for sevendust, a band I loved in high school/college. EMG's are stock.

I replaced the pickup rings with creme, to me it just fits the les Paul aesthetic more with the binding. No fear, I still have the black rings if I wanna go OG.

It sounds and plays great.

I know that rush of exhilaration when something special and long sought after lands in your lap. It's happened to me a few times over the years and there is little like it. (Cue the "warm-fuzzies"!! )
