Yup, rounds and flat. Very fresh rounds, in fact.Very modern sounding, strung with rounds? How were the tone controls set?
Actually I did this one as a custom order. I've always wanted an iridescent finish, and if you look at some of those fancy modded cars, there -IS- such a thing as translucent iridescent lacquer. So I asked Rob if he could do it, and he said he actually just did one on a 6-string guitar too, so it definitely could be done. I imagine it's a product like this one - Gallon Chameleon Color Changing Pearl Flip Flop Basecoat Clearcoat Paint Kit | eBayI had a Streamline 5 built with a translucent orange finish. Depending on the light and angle, it varies in color from dark yellow, to orange, to deep red, and brown. Just the nature of the translucent tint on the woven carbon body.I checked the Status site, but could not find any mention of a colour changing finish. I'm asumung it's a hologram? Any more info on this? It's an amazing instrument. Congrats!
