Great looking bound neck! I saw the same swirl on a great playing, lightweight SB-2 with white guard but couldn't get past the look but on that body shape and with the beautiful neck it looks sweet!

yep I was initially not impressed, the pics were really dark, and there weren't any pics of the whole bass...I contacted the guy, and a previous owner from the G&L Registry, got some good pics and a bunch of historical info and couldn't resist.

Only thing it doesn't have is the K switch mod, which I really liked on my old L2K, I might do that one myself...

I've been playing an 81 L-1000 and the gear jones kicked in for an L2K. I was about to pull the trigger an a really early mahogany L2K but the seller got cold feet. Then this one popped up...

I know! I've never been a huge fan of the bowling ball swirl, but I think it really works with the bound neck

I had an L-2000 years ago but it had the baseball bat neck and I couldn't handle it. I wish it had the jazz neck.
