NBD! - Godin Shifter 5

Picked up this one on Marketplace a couple of weeks ago. $675 CAD seemed like a good deal for a solid Canadian made instrument. My first 5er! Any advice on going from 4 to 5 string, or on set up would be much appreciated.

First impressions, this bass is solid and sounds great! Huge variety of sounds available from the differnent pickup settings. Some of them can get a bit clangy though, if i don't turn the tone way down. Other than getting used to the tighter string space and extra weight of a 5 it platys and feels great, although I may tweak the setup to see if I can get the action a bit lower.

Congrats, looks like a solid purchase. I bought the A4 Ultra fretless last year and have worked it into a regular rotation replacing the upright for lounge gigs. The electronics are complicated, two quarter inch outputs and the controls are crazy but it is a solid build. I adjusted the neck a tiny bit, changed strings to higher tension (my right hand is heavy) and worked out the tone with a HPF.
Godin are good basses and I suspect will become more popular in the near future.
