Congrats, great basses! For those so inclined, I notice there is one for sale right now in TB classifieds.

I can't say they're going to be perfect. But if one were thinking of heading in that tonal direction, a Skyline HB with a complete set up (or plek if necessary) and a set of TI JF's / DD Custom Chromes would put you right in that sonic ballpark.

I highly recommend kicking the tires on one. And if you can, try an older one and a newer one and compare the pickups.

They really are a perfectly designed HB for live applications. I haven’t recorded with it yet, but for live it practically conforms to your body and sounds like a million bucks. MTD sure figured this one out!

Hey MCM - it's feels just right against the abs/torso. Some HB's feel like acoustic guitars.

It kind of has a PRS / Ergodydne vibe going on, only with more class. Truly takes skill, craftsmanship and vision to pull it off.

Thanks Bh - My last two purchases have been pre 2008 Laklands - one a USA Glaub and now a MIK Skyline Hollowbody - they nailed both of these!

Thanks Bh - I believe the color is Teal? It is USA BG #01 and it’s spectacular as well. There’s a photo of it on the Lakland website!
