It’s far from flawless,
That's the boat I'm in with a Jag P/J project I'm doing (my first refin, so there was a learning curve). I made some rookie mistakes so I had to come to terms with my skill level and non-pro tools. Yours looks great, BTW

It’s far from flawless,
This one has been a slow project on nights and weekends over the last 6 months or so.
Features:
* 5 string wenge Warmoth neck with select Ebony board
* Matte black lacquered Sapele body
* 2 Sims Quad pickups
* Stone and acrylic pickguard
* Gold powder coated control plates
Finally finished it up Sunday afternoon just in time for weekly band rehearsal. It plays great, sounds MASSIVE, and looks pretty good to boot (IMO.)
It’s far from flawless, but I’m happy with the results.

amazing! I love it! Love me a jag/jazzmaster/meteora kinda shape. Did you make the body yourself?
They were very easy to install. If you opt not to use the LED indicators they are totally passive and it’s just the hot and ground out from the switch to worry about. Dead simple.Thanks for these links!! I had no idea about these pickups - they're amazing and it seems SimS did everything it could to make it easy to install these.

It plays pretty darn good so far! Gotta give credit to Warmoth for doing the heavy lifting on that part of it I suppose! LolLooks good BUT how does it really play ??? once you get over the Buzz lol
Very cool PU's !! I like the design idea and listening to the demo on the website there is a very definate tone variation ! love the slap tone !
