NBD - Ibanez SR500N

Played the new SR500N at practice today, felt great and sounded really good! I have a set of IMA strings coming on Wednesday and I’m excited to try them on this. I might even try a set on my fretless if I like them.

I’m liking the new generation of 500’s. As a lefty it’s one of the nicer basses that we can actually get that’s not boutique priced hard to find and mostly unavailable. I have one from the late 00’s and aside from that dreaded cheap finish it’s always been a special instrument that has giving me years of enjoyment. One of these days I’ll probably refinish the body and it’ll be good to go for many years to come.
