Well, given that they've reissued the 4005 - something folk swore would never happen - I don't know what's stopping them. If Fender can revisit old models, why can't RIC? The days of the fear of insulting the fanbois by being progressive are surely gone, now with BH at the helm. Honestly, that guy's been like a breath of fresh air through the company.

Remember all the times Sterling Ball said they'll never do 70s StingRay reissues?

I guess we'll just never know. The C64 & V63 models weren't a very drastic change from an S model....

This model is a direct copy of Paul McCartney's Wings-era Rickenbacker, so it includes the reshaped horns of that hallowed instrument.

And also why it has a reverse headstock.
