I got me a Kiesel Amos Williams signature bass!

heres the unboxing video:


All standard specs:
Alder body
British racing green satin finish
Maple neck
Tung oil finish
Ebony board

It plays amazingly well! I can’t wait to take it out on a gig.

Ive been debating between Ned’s CR5 and a new Kiesel.
This smell phenomenon has been pushing me towards another Carvin/Kisel.
I have an ‘00/‘01 LB70p - opening up the case is a near-spiritual experience when that smell greets you as you look upon your instrument.
This phenomenon makes for quite the ritual and affected my psyche to have reference for the instrument.
I always though it was the wood finish but it would be funny if it is just the case.
If its the case, I want those casses for each of my instruments.

Preach it brother! The used LB75 i bought came with a fitted Carvin case that was almost 28 years old and it still had "the smell".

@BassIsFun17...bask in the glory and "the smell" of your new acquisition!

And you'll be taking it in style....I don't and never have owned a Carvin or Kiesel instrument, but I have 2 of those SC8N soft cases. They're the bees knees.
