NBD - Lee Sklar P

I recently lucked out. I was looking for a Fender Blacktop P or J and stumbled across a prototype Electra Phoenix 5 with dual P reverse EMGs. Looks and plays incredibly well. Under $500. My favorite fretted bass. I just need to add a blend control and it will be perfect.

I think I need to put together a Lee tribute now, too.

Please share the details on what Warmoth says they can do.

I certainly will!

So far I've exchanged a few e-mails with their first tier support. Once we were both on the same page on what it was I was looking for exactly (thanks to the awesome reference pic posted by @Durham52 ) he passed my message along to the production team and I'm waiting for their response. Maybe I'll have a response by the end of the week?

Not meaning to hijack this thread by any means... but Warmoth is finally getting back with me and I'm making some progress.

Does anyone have measurements on the location of the pickups on Sklars bass? I sent them the image that shows the pickups in relation to a P Bass and a Jazz bass, but they're looking for something more precise.

Maybe @PhatBasstard ?

NVM. I found an older post from @PhatBasstard that stated the measurements.

Posting here for posterity.

12th fret to Neck pickup (middle)= 9.25"
12th fret to bridge pickup (middle)= 14"

That seems fully accurate.
