NBD Maruszczyk Madness

Very late asking this (apologies!), but are those Times Square humbuckers? How do you like them?
I LOVE them! I will admit, I mostly play with the preamp on, which definitely adds to their sound, but even passive they are some of the best pickups I’ve played. Both snarl and depth for days, very responsive to different touch and technique. Huge dynamic range. I am not a huge fan of fancy woods, and this bass had a price tag probably 6-800 dollars higher because of them. But… it weighs 8 pounds, sounds like thunder, plays like butter. I think these pickups cost 500$ a pair, which is kinda crazy, but I wouldn’t hesitate to order them in a new bass (which I will do at some point). I’m not a big slapper, but these are GREAT for slap. They almost sound and feel like there is compression- pops are SUPER smooth. I guess after gushing like this I should really post a vid… eventually.

Thanks for the info! They sound intriguing. I've ordered what (I hope) will be my no.1 from Maruszczyk, with my preferred Precision/MM pickup combo, but a part of me is already thinking it'd be good to have either a Jazz or a double humbucker in the stable too. The Times Square and Nordstrand pickups are both catching my eye
