NBD! Musicman makes nice stuff.

About Ibanez, I cannot. At a fraction of EBMM's costs they're consistently better than a Squier Affinity, but their consistent "great" doesn't start till you hit $2500USD2019C.E.

I'm curious about your choice to go into a MM thread just to say "I think that spending $2000 on a bass which would be difficult to sell for more than $800 would be a better idea than spending $2500 on a bass which would be easy to sell for $2000... because uniqueness in color and/or electronics is of higher importance to me than having an instrument's functional quality be better than good enough."

By "I'm curious" I actually mean to accuse you of intentionally trolling this and other threads whose main topic is instruments exceptionally well constructed en masse with small options lists. This is akin to going into effects threads and replying that you actually prefer to plug straight into your amp.
Thank you, good sir.

I could get so lost in that neck...

This comment in post #2 came up before the OP's pic materialized, so me being a fan of highly figured woods, I had to wait and check it out, and.....DAMN !!!! That may be the most spectacular hunk o' guitar wood I've ever seen !!!!!! :woot:

(BTW, my brother and I have both been through several EB 6-string guitars, and they've all been spectacular. Nobody needed to sell this idea 'round here ! :D
