No disrespect my friend... that thing is truly beautiful. I couldn't even imagine where to begin in terms of playing it. Completely different level that's for sure. It would be cool to see a player tearin it up one of those.Yup. I got you haha![]()
Well I could've had that option, but I opted for the slingshot system they have on the big aircraft carriers![]()
I understand. Thanks im glad you like it! You'd be surprised, its not as hard as you think! A lot of people at namm would just rip on it and they just play standard basses. All it is, is knowing where you're at, and since its all in 4ths you have your standard EADG so you just work from thereNo disrespect my friend... that thing is truly beautiful. Thanks for checking out some of my stuff! Im glad you liked it. The piano isn't mine and isnt played much. It has had a few problems with keys not working, so its more of a shelf for holding things hahaCurtis, I did the classic YouTube search, looking for a similar account within. And man, you got some skills, would love to see a follow up. That piano is pretty cool too!
I have NO idea!!! Its crazy!!!How does a half inch thick neck take all that tension?
Haha!!!The coffee table bass you can ACTUALLY use as a coffee table!
Seriously, that's beautiful. Congrats!
I believe between 6.5 and 7Your sweep arpeggios will be effing legendary. You have like 5 octaves without a position shift right?
Yeah Yves has some pretty cool stuff and he's a really cool guy. I played a couple basses in a similar type of tuning and I wasn't huge on it. But its a good idea!!! I think his 12 is tuned B00-Gb4.Awesome. If I did something like that it I would probably tune it BEAD suboctave plus BEAD normal.
Yves Carbonne does something like that - regular tuning plus sub.
You got itWhen you get a chance, could you tell us all about the specs? what type of woods, is the fret board one solid piece? is the body chambered? the electronics, fret size, what type of carve is the neck-compound etc?
Nah its not bad, a lot of people have ripped on itWow. I can't imagine playing all 11 strings without getting lost. I play guitar and 7 string guitars seem too daunting for me.
Thanks man! Thanks for checking out my stuff!I did the YouTube search as well...
Very impressive Curtis!! Congrats on the new bass!! Looking forward to some more vids with the 11 string![]()
Hell yeah! Thats sick!Very cool.
I'ma go back to playing my custom 2 string now.
