There is no other bass I have lusted after for as long as the Warwick Streamer Stage II. I heard Dirk Lance and Stuart Zender play them in the 1990‘s, and I immediately wanted one. But that model has always eluded me, I had never seen one in person, and almost never in stock anywhere. They also don’t seem to come up used much at all. Then Thomann has this Warwick and Framus showroom sale with incredible deals! You can tell these instruments got a thorough spa treatment, this one is 15 years old and could pass as brand new, mint condition. Absolutely flawless, perfectly set up. The bass is a little heavy, but so is the tone. It’s freaking MASSIVE! Such warmth and punch, a force to ve reckoned with. It still doesn’t make me sound like Stuart Zender though!
The Subway 1x12 cab is for home practice and the occasional small gig where I don’t wanna haul my 2x12. It’s a little bigger than I thought and akwardly shaped. But it sounds amazing, way louder and tighter than one would expect from such a small box. Love the Subway tone, this is a great lightweight compact little rig!
