That is a great find. You really got it for a solid price. It's crazy how much Fender charges for the GL's now. They started out at around $600 four years ago. Now they are nearly double the price.

Pawn shops are really "hit or miss" these days. I've found some really good deals, but I hit the shops regularly.

I found my 82 P-Bass at a local pawn shop and picked it up for $600 10 years ago. The price wasn't that great then but at least it's worth twice that now!

Pawn shops are like lottery tickets. Usually you don't win, sometimes you win a little, but occasionally you step in a whole pile of it. I've seen high end, older Alembics come out of the pawns for $500 - all kinds of crazy stuff (Never happens to me, though!). Nice bass. Good deal. Keep on shoppin'

Gotta love pawn shops. Got my Peavey T-25 Special for $75 with OHSC.

It's probably one of like, 300 or less of this particular model and finish ever made. Unfortunately, original owner stripped the finish and changed the bridge...

But for $75, I'm very, very, very lucky.
