So I was making the rounds at the local pawn shops today, and I came across a Sterling Ray34 at what looked to be a very reasonable price, $399.99 . Well, though it's a great bass and certainly worth that, I wasn't really prepared to pay that much for it. I tend to not buy things unless they are at a super bargain price....at least not from pawnshops. Anyway, I looked at the tag and noticed that it had been in the shop for a while, so I correctly guessed that they were ready to move on it. After some hard negotiations, I was able to walk out the door with it for $250.06 !!!
Yep. A Sterling Ray34 for $250...
I promise I will post better photos later, after it is cleaned up and after I'm home, but here are a couple photos I took while sitting at the traffic light. Believe me, I got out of that pawnshop and away from there as soon as I could! I didn't want them to change their mind.
