NBD - Player Jazz - blueburst

Great looking JBass. Excellent price. Very early on in my playing I went from a P Bass to a J Bass and really never looked back. P's are awesome for certain live situations and a lot of recording situations...but the feel with the closer string spacing and versatility of a Jazz gets into your soul. Nicely done, O.P.

Beautiful bass OP. I have that exact same bass and played it at last night's show. Excellent sounding with a band. Enjoy.

I don't think you'll be disappointed if you do.
I've been playing one every trip to guitar center for a good while now. I want to strip it and stain it purple though

Howdy! After selling my Pbass recently I decided it was time to try something different and after checking out a few different options I found this at my local GC and couldn’t pass up the deal. It was on sale for $650 and the last one they had. The other regular player jazzes were $799. After a quick setup at home, this thing plays so well and I am loving the sounds I can get from it… very growly or smooth and silky. The cherry on top is the fact it weighs about a pound less then the pbass I was playing.

Yet that GC deal has a few talking, and some buying. There's one 12 miles from me that I'm trying to resist setting eyes on.

I had basically decided on a MIM Geddy or a Player and then when I got there to try the Player I found this one and fell in love.
I have a MIM P and Am P/J. Looking to add a Jazz for cheap, but don't need it. But if it plays as good as it looks... I'm not worried about sound. Pups can always be changed. Hard to pass up this deal.

Really need to put together a dual fx loop pedalboard. Not buying the bass would barely cover the costs of the board, case, pwr supply, patch cables, and the Earthquaker Devices "Swiss Things" dual fx loop, dual output pedal that I need, want, :roflmao:

Nice! I noticed my local GC had a lot of sale prices on Fender and Squier basses when I was in there last week. I think I played one of these for a couple of minutes.

I played one at a GC as well on Friday night (along with a Dark Night AM Pro II Jazz with a rosewood fingerboard) and the action was sky high.

Part of me wants it, but I would want to negotiate a discount because I am concerned I would not be able to achieve the setup I would desire.
