I had that exact same bass also from around the same year. I have no idea why I sold it, but I certainly wish I hadn’t.

All my previous CIC CV bass play great, but when I own an outstanding Matt freeman neck few years ago，she absolutely a perfect mistress.

Move from Fender 2pcs Ash 70s P body ( Gotoh Cermic pup and SPB1) > 2 different colour VM PJ body ( stock PJ and Dimarzio DP126PJ )> indo CV70s P body ( stock 11.6K pup , custom 9.6k A5 pup , Model P ).

All sound great and neck play great .
