Yeah, but since I couldn't find a 5 string SB-2, I picked up a couple Peavey Cirrus 5 stringers... and now every 5 string bass I buy gets compared to a Peavey Cirrus. That ain't making it easy for ANY bass.

I love my L5Ks. I've never found a better sounding 5 string bass. I find the string spacing fine. It just takes a bit of getting used to. That purple sparkle sure is nice too.

I've been playing a freind's L5000 with the sickle shaped headstock through an older solid state Ampeg combo. It's got a fantastic tone, although it's a bit of a one trick pony compared to my Lakeland 55-02. I'd love to tweak the neck a bit but my freind likes it where it is. I'm adjustin just fine to the tighter spacing. I like it better than the 2500's I've tried.
