NBD: Rickenbacker 4003SW

I've been wanting one since I played one briefly about three years ago. This one came up on CL for a too good to be true price. I couldn't bring myself to pay full retail for the 4003W I've been constantly eyeing. This is the SW and I can certainly live without binding and shark tooth inlays considering what I paid.

Overall impressions: Beautiful, feels great and plays great. Sound is exactly what I wanted. I'm in love and may not pick up one of my Precisions or a Jazz in a while. View attachment 3167544 View attachment 3167545 View attachment 3167546 View attachment 3167547

Beauty. I bought a Jetglo 4003S new last Fall. And I also decided to forego the sharkfin inlays and binding (and stereo outputs that I never used on my previous 4003), to save a few hundred $$$.
