NBD: Rickenbacker 4003SW

I've been wanting one since I played one briefly about three years ago. This one came up on CL for a too good to be true price. I couldn't bring myself to pay full retail for the 4003W I've been constantly eyeing. This is the SW and I can certainly live without binding and shark tooth inlays considering what I paid.

Overall impressions: Beautiful, feels great and plays great. Sound is exactly what I wanted. I'm in love and may not pick up one of my Precisions or a Jazz in a while.

David J was a huge influence on me.

I have an Ampeg 115 combo with the horn disconnected for home use.

If and when I ever do play out I have a Genz Benz MBE 1200 through a Peavey 410.

How will you take advantage of the stereo outputs? 2 amps or split via pedals?

P.S. Sorry for my confusion, I had the model mono/stereo models opposite in my mind.

I was a bit uneducated myself. When I went to pick it up I was wondering where the Ric O Sound was. Fortunately my brained kicked in and realized it is only the bound 4003s that have it.

The 4003SW is one output with no body or neck binding and black dot fret markers. The 4003W has body and neck binding, shark tooth inlay fret markers and the Ric O Sound feature.

Thanks, there's really nothing I can complain about. It's light, feels good and it was in mint condition.

I bought them on Ebay. Do a search for "Zero-Mod 4003v2FB FatBoy Thumb Rest Tug Bar for 2015-2018 Rickenbacker 4003 Bass". I like them a lot, I like keeping the pickup cover on, this allowed me to do that and have a good anchor for my thumb.
