WOW. This is exactly what I envisioned. Jake nailed it. Even Sophie approves.
It is set up just about perfectly. The neck is almost straight, just like I like it. The strings may come down slightly just because I like a little more growl when I dig in. The nut height is absolutely perfect. It's the only new bass I've had, and the only one besides a Ric that I had where I didn't have to lower the slots. It's like Jake read my mind in regards to setup.

Damn.
First off, yes it's powerful, but it can be tamed by backing off the volume. The tone control is the most usable I've had. It can go from dark sub bass to taking your face off and everything in between, and that's with flats. I wanted a warm, punchy P bass that can get aggressive still with flats and it exceeded those expectations. Even playing back by the bridge, which I usually find thin on a P, it remains fat. And the balance from string to string with the reverse P is perfect.

Now I just need to figure out my TH350 especially with the mid frequency which I'm not used to having and find a good home base for it. Then I can use the volume, tone, and VTBDI for tweaking.
I can see about getting some audio. I don't usually do that so I have to figure out how I did it a few years back.
