NBD! (sort of)

New to me, anyway

I saw this relic'd Squier Classic Vibe at a local music store for cheap.

I know a lot of folks on here don't care much for relicing, but I thought this one looked pretty cool so I checked it out.

I'm a relatively new bassist and I spent about 20 minutes noodling around on it. Now I understand what people are saying when they say the CV's are good basses! It plays really well.

Story is, the previous owner had the body professionally relic'd. I don't care of it was professional, or if the owner took it out in their backyard and did the job - I really like it!

Will a gold anodized pickguard fit on a Squier CV? Thinking about switching the tort out for one. Anyone have experience with that? I've adjusted plastic pickguards but it'd probably be hard to adjust a gold anodized one :(
