2004 I believe when they switched from the Euro to Euro LX. However, they still make what is called the Euro classic which still have the solid maple bodyGood for you, I love green axes.
For the 'Spector' guys out there: About when did the CR Spectors lose the single-wood body wings (like the flame maple on this one) and change over to laminated body wings ?
That's a great question and as a huge Spector guy I should know the answer. But I don't. The "Spector owners club" here on TB would be a great place for that question. I am a member and therefore still bothered with myself that I don't know the answer to that one!Good for you, I love green axes.

I hope this is my last nbd for a long while, unless I hit it big and can get a Ritter.
My 2nd spector. The first had to promptly be returned, which is still a huge regret.
Bought from the classifieds. All maple euro model with snc haz clone preamp. Getting it set to my liking. So far, it is giving me sounds I don't currently have on hand which was my goal. Very eager to play this out. Nothing sounds like a Spector.

Euro. The american model is out of my budget, sadly. However, this one is built exceptionally well and the fretwork is great. Very pleased with it so far (in the honeymoon phase). The NS-2 is a truly classic bass. That green is gorgeous. Is the bass Euro or American?

Euros are fantastic instruments. From what I've seen and read, you're not really stepping down in quality from a U.S. made Spector, more so that the US Spectors are just that incredible (and of course, can be custom-made and have a ton more options).
A lot of hand crafting goes into the Euros, too.
