NBD - Squier VM Precision - Amber

I love these (amber) basses! I bought mine brand new back in the day, and did some modifications to mine as well. I installed an aged pearl pickguard, bridge ashtray cover, Bill Lawrence pickup and Fender flats. It was my first Precision, and I've since grown my "P" stable but still love this maple-bodied VM. Congrats on finding one....they're kinda rare these days in the lower 48.

THANKS! White tort looks lovely! I'm very impressed with this bass, the 'soft' maple body has nice character as well as a bit of weight, it's not too heavy, just the right amount of heft for me. I was thinking about the ashtray cover but decided against it, I did cave and added the tug bar (I had one lying around). I'm not sure what type of p/ups are installed but they sound really good. She came wrapped with D'Addario Chromes, I'm generally a Half Wound type of player but these flats are gonna stay with this baby.
