So cal
It’s here and Wow!! Can’t recommend this beautiful bass enough! It should cost twice what I bought it for. Impeccable build quality great sound and playability. If you are thinking about a SS I would certainly consider this one it’s beautiful! Lowest action on any bass I’ve owned. Gretsch really had it packed for safety and shipping. I’ve been playing bass since 1962 and acquired over 700 basses in that half a century! So I know what works for me. YMMV. Couldn’t be happier. :)

I want one!
What strings are you (going to be) using?
I was thinking about a Gibson SG for the short scale option but, neck-dive complaints scared me off. I tried one of these in GC a few years back and thinking, “I don’t dislike it.”
For now the stock strings are fine then I’ll switch over to Flats. I think I have a set of Rotosound SS.
