Hey TalkBass!

It’s been several years since I’ve posted so here’s to my return! My first Stingray and it’s a fine specimen. I find the neck nice and fast. The finish looks great especially with the tort pickguard. I haven’t seen many burnt ends around here so enjoy!

currently playing through an Ampeg RB110 until my Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 arrives. The B really growls.

Congratulations! Great looking bass, enjoy your new purchase! I really am enjoying my recently purchased Stingray special 5H, as well. The light weight, look and playability are superb. Nice, low, buzz free action.. and I’m loving the slightly different voicing of the new pre/ pickup combination! Very smooth treble, great punchy mids and bottom end! And that trademark Stingray growl !
