NBD: stingray!

Well I have been gassing over a stingray for awhile and while cruising the 'bay I found my cure for gas. A translucent green stingray 5HH.
Got it today and am totally In love with the sound, neck, and overall feel. And it's lighter than my MIM Jazz!

I have a single-pickup Stingray in that color with a rosewood neck.

While I positively love it, I wish the color was a little lighter. In pics, it looks almost black. But under the right stage lighting, it looks really nice.

Thanks! I really like the color but your right that it's a little hard to photograph correctly.

Love green basses!!! There's been "green bass" threads on TB before, but I want to see more.

A bold look, but the black pickguard and maple fretboard with black dots really appeals to me. I'm turning green with envy (awful pun intended).

Yeah, trans green was a very common color on early, and mid 90's Rays. I thought they'd discontinued it before the HH models came out.

Sounds right. Mine is a '98, I wish the nice green character would come through in pictures. Probably would in better light.
