My parents have been having some medical issues so we left town last week to help them out. Just so happens my birthday was during this time. I had been looking at a P bass and the Mrs knew about it so she decided to surprise me with it by having it shipped to my dad's house. Yeah, I was surprised. Here's the pics...
The shop she bought it from listed it as a 74. Didn't look like a 74 to me, but I din't care because it's awesome and so is she. We both got curious and decided to take peek under the hood. This is what we found...
It has a fretless conversion which is quite nice. There's hardly any wear on the fingerboard and that A neck is fun to play. The case is in really good shape too.

Enjoy your very nice vintage Fender bass.
