NBD the Ric cometh early!

Wasn’t expecting this until April, so I’m pleasantly surprised (but was hoping to have those extra months to save. First world problems)
Another surprise was that this batch has the stereo sound option. Very pleased with everything from packing to case quality, and the bass itself! The finish is really gorgeous. The neck is also satin so it’s very smooth riding up and down. There is a slight rattling on certain notes on a few string that makes me think something might be a tad loose... at first I was thinking truss rod but after investigating these pages I see now there are several possible culprits. I haven’t plugged it in yet to see if it transfers through the amp. A very slight annoyance thus far. A pretty happy customer here. Cheers!

I think it’s satin. Not sure of the difference, but yeah the neck is the same. Really fast and smooth

Very nice looking bass there! I'd check the tuners for rattling. I tried a bass in a store recently and there was something rattling when I played an open A note and thought it was the truss rod at first too, but then I found one of the tuners was a little loose and was vibrating.

It has the two features which drew me to buying one decades ago: cool looks, shark fins, and checkerboard binding. Alas, I couldn't bond with the ergonomics.
